For Location-based-services developer Kivera Corporation, GoThisWay executed an analysis of the location-based services market, identifying areas of market potential. We also developed a competitive analysis of this arena, considering providers in telematics, e911, enhanced directory services and fleet management sectors.

Steve served as exec VP of Marketing & BizDev at Zing where he helped the company transition its business model from rich-media advertising to photography. He managed all online and offline marketing programs and oversaw a staff of about 30 people including Product Management, Marketing & PR, Marcom, Editorial, and Web development.

As a premier provider of Enterprise planning applications, GoThisWay helped A³ Solutions develop the next generation of their planning platform, including creating the product plan, UI design, UI engineering, customer interviews and presentations, and the go-to-market strategy.

Steve Guttman was co-founder and CEO of halfbrain.com, the pioneering web site that introduced some of the most advanced, next-generation Web-based applications to the Internet. In an 11-month period, the Halfbrain.com team developed the world's first browser-based spreadsheet and presentation programs. He oversaw all strategy issues, raised venture funding, and oversaw all operations. He also managed the company's exit strategy and interested over 7 parties in the company including, Microsoft, Yahoo, Hyperion, e.piphany, NBCi, AlphaBlox and Excite.

As VP of Marketing at Fractal Design, and VP of Product Marketing for MetaCreations, Steve managed all Marketing functions for this startup, taking them through IPO, and growing the company from 35 - 120 people. " He helped Fractal expand its product line from 2 to 7 products and grow its revenues from $6.5 MM to $35 MM in 3 years.

Steve served as VP of Product Marketing for AlphaBlox Corporation after it's aquisition of Halfbrain.com in June of 2000. He organized and rebuilt the company's Product Marketing department. This group developed market requirements, oversaw the development process, and motivated marketing programs.

When PhotoDisc wanted a consultant to work with them on adding new online capabilities to their product line, they came to GoThisWay. In this project, we researched a number of online trends and marketing initiatives and made specific recommendations on additional product and marketing offerings.
